Crew members are expected to be in uniform at all times aboard the ship. Civilian attire is only permitted when going to / coming back from shore leave. There are stock descriptions for each uniform that you can copy/paste into your character's description.

For formal occasions, CF soldiers wear their Dress Uniforms, consisting of a black jacket, gray pants and brown leather sash and belt. Blue piping is for the air wing, red for marines, green for support. Decorations and ribbons are pinned to the sash.
The CF offers a variety of cold-weather gear, including watch caps, gloves and coats. The most popular are bomber-style jackets, though they also have full-fledged arctic camo gear for marines venturing out into the cold for extended periods of time. Remember that the standard flight suits, designed for the cold of space, are also very good in cold weather.
