Dry Gulch
May 1860 - the newly created Pony Express has a waystation set up in Dry Gulch, Colorado. The town, previously a little tumbledown place with a handful of gold miners hoping to strike it rich, has recently grown much bigger thanks to the discovery of a good vein of gold and the benefit of being on both the pony express route and the newly-built railroad line. A love of money and liquor wars with the Temperance League, who are trying to clean up the town and attempting to get on the city council to outlaw booze.
There are many legends about ghosts and spirits who haunt the area, and a few horror stories about what happens to those who step foot outside of the towns confines at night or anger one of the spirits.
