Born on Canceron, Delilah was a military brat. Her father, Simon, a Raptor Pilot and her mother, Rosalyn, a perfect military wife. Growing up, her father was gone more often than not, but that wasn't so bad for Lila. Her mother was another story. Eventually there was a separation, it was bitter and left her mother bitter when the marriage failed. To Delilah, he was rarely there in the first place, and she had other things to concentrate on. Her schooling was important and she always knew what she was going to do with her life and so she spent the bulk of her time pretending to be a pilot. In a fighter, not a passenger vehicle. Recruiting all of her friends, she led whole fleets into battles and adventures without ever leaving her town.
During her teenage years she took up music, a guitar, a singer, a dancer, she imagined herself the next 'Joanie Jenkins of the the Purple Diamonds' even going so far as to recruiting those same friends to making a band with her. 'Martyr Machine; and they had a grand total of one gig. At Parties in the Park, a local venue, they made their debut and it was a flop. Everyone quit the band, including Lila, and she directed her focus towards her studies once more.
Fleet Academy was the next part of realizing her dream, and she did just that. After graduation she focused herself on flight school. During flight school, in what rare spare time she could find, she found a love of Pyramid and spent the bulk of her free time hanging out at the court with other ballers, and eventually joined a not so professional team. Competing against others around the area, they made a bit of a name for themselves, but only very locally.
Having served in the military for Canceron, when the war started she remained stationed where she was, in her home military base, training, assisting in things closer to home. When asked for volunteers for the Colonial Forces, she was one of the first to step forward, ready and willing. Still, despite her eagerness, the transfer took awhile to go through the channels and is only just going through. She's had six months to say goodbye to her family and her friends. Now? She's on her way.
With hair the color of sunlight spun into honeyed silk, this woman has a playful look about her. Those vibrant red locks are left free to tumble over her shoulders and down her back. Her oval shaped visage shows a high forehead but features delicate brows formed of angular arches. Her brows and incandescent green eyes hold a curious expression, inquisitive. Smooth cheeks and lush lips of coral pink are the stage for an expressive mouth which seems quick to smile.
Wearing a flight suit, her form is more hidden behind the material. Boots complete the ensemble. A patch declares her rank to be Lieutenant JG Abner.
